ABOUT US

Sotexbrode was founded in Tangier, Morocco, in 1992 by the Oumera family. It specializes in the production of embroidered curtains fabrics. It is a midsize company of about 300 employees. It has a capacity of 1100 yard/day (1000 m/day) of high quality embroidered curtains (118" wide or 300 cm) or 20000 points fabric (knots). All the processes are done at the same location : weaving, embroidering, dyeing, and finishing.

Sotexbrode imports high quality polyester yarns from Korea, and uses them to weave the base fabric as well as embroider it with creative embroidered patterns with modern designs inspired from high fashion countries such as Italy and France, and more traditional models imported from the Middle East and Africa. Sotexbrode also uses thermo-melting non-woven base when more complicated patterns involving hollow elements are needed, as well as thermo metallic bonding for more specialized niche fabrics.

Sotexbrode also offers a wide range of embroidered bands that can be used as decorative edges for many types of lingerie.
